Education plays an important role in one's life because it allows one to understand one’s full potential and use it effectively for the progress of a nation. As a result, education must be made available for everyone, especially children because they need to develop and attain their full potential while they are still young. However, it appears that not every children is receiving a quality education during these challenging times. As a result, we must take action to ensure that students receive the education they need.

‘The Philippines is one of the five countries in the world that have not started in-person classes since the pandemic began, affecting the right to learn of more than 27 million Filipino students’. This reflects that, during the pandemic, not all Filipino students are receiving the same level of education. Undeniably, the pandemic has had a significant impact on us, especially on children's education. As we celebrate the 2021 National Children's Month, we should all highlight the importance of all children's rights to a quality education. Many Filipinos are struggling right now since not everybody can afford to stay up with today's learning practices. As a result, we must all work together to promote and preserve children's rights to a quality education. We live in a country with huge potential, therefore we need to take care and offer what’s best for our children, because they are the ones that will help in the growth of our nation. I believe that if our children receive quality education, our future will be better. Because, as Jose Rizal once said, "The youth is the hope of our future". So, we need must protect and promote all of the rights that enables the youth to have quality education.

Education is a key element of a child's development. And, as a result of the limitations imposed by the pandemic, most children are not receiving the quality of education they deserve. As a result, we must try and solve this problem. We must all highlight the significance of all children's rights to a quality education, and we must all work together to defend and promote all rights that allow children to get a quality education. We must provide quality education to our youth to achieve a brighter future for our nation.
